Internal rules of the Chanalets Golf School

Preamble

The purpose of these regulations is to present the operating rules of the Golf School. It relates to pedagogy and its structural organization. It also defines the rights and duties vis-à-vis the club. It is approved by the golf management, the president of the Sports Association, the Sports Commission, Club Volunteer Sports Teachers and Assistants (A.S.B.C).

Our program

Accompany and guide children in all stages of progression, from discovery to improvement and towards performance.

Our objective

Fun above all and allow autonomy as quickly as possible on the course while respecting the fundamental values ​​of our sport : well being, share , friendliness and promote the integration of our young people into the club's teams.

1 Golf school organization (EDG)

A dynamic team available to serve children :

• Serge BERTINET (President of the Sports Association), Vincent MINODIER (EDG referent), Georges OHANNESSIOAN (EdG labeling referent), Michel MANEVEAU (coordinateur A.S.B.C), Bernard GROS (Treasurer of the Sports Association).
• A youth commission made up of Michel MANEVEAU, Vincent MINODIER, Jean-Christophe BERTIN, Nathanael PEYRENT, Hélène SILLAM and Georges OHANESSIAN.

* The Golf School is open to all children from 5 years until 18 over years.

* For reasons related, to the current health context, safety and quality of education, the number of children is limited to 8 by group.

* The prices are defined according to the age and the duration of the lesson hours.

* A practice card of 10 tokens are offered to each child for out-of-school training (mandatory photo ID to be given at the golf reception).

* All the children of the Golf School are members of the club : so they have access to all facilities (practice, compact, course 18 holes until the beginning of the golf school in September 2023)

2 Rights and duties

2.1 The club :

– The Club undertakes to provide teachers, children and A.S.B.C. the installations (practice, compact, course) during the course.

Access to the course during and outside of class, must be reserved with the Club.

2.2 Teachers :

Teachers are committed to :

• respect the schedule of class sessions.
• follow the educational program developed at the beginning of the year. (The content of the sessions may be modified depending on weather conditions.).
• use the training tools set up by the French Golf Federation (the flags).
• notify parents in the event of cancellation of sessions for exceptional climatic reasons (snow or red vigilance issued by Météo-France)

2.3 The child :

The child undertakes to attend all of the courses provided for in the planning of the year. Any absence must be the subject of information prior to supervision (teacher or Club reception),

In addition, he undertakes to:

• respect the moral and educational values ​​of the club
• respect the directives given;
• respect the basic rules of conduct, label, of dress and respect for others during lessons and in competition ;
• honor teacher selections and, or, of the Club to participate in individual and team competitions ;
• participate in competitions organized by the club for him.

2.4 Hope Group :

– The child monitored by the Drôme-Ardèche Committee and anyone who receives assistance from the Association Sportive du golf des Chanalets must participate in the individual or team departmental championships in which they are selected.

2.5 The parents

– Parents agree to :

• explain and make their children understand the objectives of the Golf School ;
• ensure a dialogue between the teacher, A.S.B.C and children in order to facilitate their adaptation and progress ;
• leave their child alone with the teacher ;
• help transport young golfers outside the club.
• notify by phone, by SMS or e-mail (see contacts) teachers in case of absence

2.6 Les A.S.B.C

– Club Volunteer Sports Animators, participate in the implementation of the practice of young people in physical and moral security.

• They animate play situations, training workshops.
• They participate in the evaluation of the federal tests used in the Club (Flags, Opens, sports events…).
• They can accompany young people on the move, organize and supervise competitions.

3 Groups and prices

The Little Condors : 5-10 years. Beginner, discovery

245 €

26 1h30 sessions.

Goals :

Initiation and discovery of ABC golf : label, putting, approach and great game, develop motor skills, speed and launch using small fun circuits.

The + :

Compact access and route to the orange marker accompanied by an adult or A.S.B.C , loan of clubs during and outside of lessons if necessary.

Planning :

Wednesday afternoon 2:45-4:15 p.m., Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or Saturday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m..

Winter break in January.

Objective Tours Kids : 11-13 years: Development

26 1h30 sessions

Goals :

Improvement of essential compartments : small game and Driving.

Circuit training to develop endurance, coordination and explosiveness.

The + :

Compact access and route with orange markers.

Planning :

Wednesday 2:30-5:00 p.m., Saturday morning 10:00-11:30 a.m. or Saturday afternoon 2:30-5:00 p.m..

Winter break in January.

Hope group Tour Kids: 10-14 years : Competitions (selection by teachers)

Of 370 €

26 2h30 sessions.

Goals :

We put oil in the mechanics ! We discuss more technical elements, organizational fundamentals : posture, game routine and strategy.

Circuit training to develop endurance, coordination and explosiveness.

The + :

Compact access and route.

Planning :

Saturday morning 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m..

Winter break in January.

The Hope Group and Confirmed Players: 14-18 years: (selection by teachers)

Goals :

From brain to muscle for more performance. Group formed by teachers according to results and motivation.

Physical work and mental preparation.

The + :

Compact access and route and selection possible in teams.

Planning :

Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the hopefuls group.

Wednesday afternoon from 2:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Saturday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the day group/confirmed players.

Winter break in January.

5 The flags

The golf school received from the French Golf Federation in 2018, the Development Label. This validation guarantees the involvement of the club and its desire to follow the educational guidelines recommended by the French Golf Federation..

Flags are an essential tool for training young people, at the service of learning the game and behavior on the course.

The passage of the different flags helps the child in his training until his first classification. The playing distances are adjusted according to the level and age of the child.

After each passing of the flag, the child will receive a diploma corresponding to the validated flag.
