Great performance by the Chanalets U16 boys team at the South-East Inter-Region Promotion
The Chanalets team competed for the second consecutive year in the Inter-Region South-East Promotion at home in 12 at 14 July 2024.
Fourteen teams entered and only the first six at the end of the first two rounds were qualified for a final day synonymous with accession to the 3rd national division.
On a perfectly prepared route and despite capricious weather conditions, the 5th place acquired after a fierce fight during the qualifications allowed our young people to challenge the very experienced Trois Vallons team. The latter had to provide their best golf to beat our valiant and promising Chanalets team. Two matches won for Trois Vallons against a victory for Chanalets.
All the golf school staff are particularly proud of the performance achieved by our young people. Let us not forget that this team is the only one from the Drôme-Ardèche Golf Bi-departmental Committee which is represented in this competition..
An appointment is made for next year to relive all these beautiful emotions.
