So much energy this winter
We realized that the year 2024 started with a renewed energy on all sides.
You leave aside the cozy cocoon of your homes to face the cold winter weather with a club in hand and the golf team is happy to welcome you every day. The very present sun at the start of the year certainly helps you make your choice between sofa and green.
We saw many of you despite the cold, wind and even rain, come and train. We congratulate you because today is the day you are preparing your swing for good times !
You may have noticed that to help you with this preparation, the practice mats and balls have been completely changed.
Teachers help golf to imagine a practice that will be fun to help you improve your game. Don’t hesitate to get closer to them, it is during this period that we build tomorrow’s performances.

In order to warm up, the year 2024 began for gourmands with the Three Wise Men’s Cup !
Saturday 6 January, 42 players went shot gun on 9 holes for a Scramble 3.
Everyone was present to enjoy the galette des rois offered by the Sports Association accompanied by Cider.

Monday 5 February, these are our seasoned swing warriors who set off for a new year with the Tamalou’s Golf Cup.
Congratulations to the 20 players who bravely set out on the course to finish with a friendly meal shared at the Terrasses des Chanalets.

Congratulations to all the players who participated in this event.
During these school holidays, we were pleasantly surprised to see our young people training and playing in order to be ready to walk the course on sunny days.
We warmly thank the ASBCs who offered them support along the way., their parents who bring them to golf and of course the teachers who train them throughout the year and make them want to practice our sport.
When the golf school resumes, the fun training sessions imagined and put into practice by teachers and ASBCs have had their effects !
A new time, thank you to these volunteers who give time and energy to ensure the succession !
- Route information
Winter is conducive to work on the course, in December you may have noticed our aeration operation by Vertidrain on your fairways, green tees and laps.
In January, we followed up on our bunker operation…
You may have noticed that the green bunker on hole no. 11 has been completely restored.
Empty, reworked shape background, drainage installed….
Others will follow…
At the start of the year, Ludovic and his friends attacked the parking lot. You can now see the Ardèche and the lavender field from the Terrace while sipping your drink. The parking lot will be cleaned, the holes filled and parking spaces will be demarcated to allow parking as many cars as possible.
They also worked to clean the undergrowth to avoid the dragging searches for balls.. Clearing, pruning of shrubs, winter work is essential for the well-being of the course throughout the year.
To come…
To help the team, mowing robots will be put in place and certain fairways will therefore be mown automatically thanks to them. To set this up, work will be done at the end of the week and beginning of next week. This may sometimes hamper the game somewhat.. But you know them, the gardeners will do their best to give you as much freedom as possible on the course.
Other work will begin soon. You will know more next week.

The club’s calendar of competitions and events will soon be revealed. You will be able to note the first dates on your busy schedules from next week.
Thursday 22 February, Senior Winter Final
96 players will take to the course to defend the colors of their respective clubs. The course will be reserved for this competition all morning until early afternoon.

The prize giving will take place at dessert time.. The rewards will not necessarily be for those we believe…
