September 2023 is team sports month. This great commitment is shared in golf!
The partners have proven it to us Sunday 3 September, they were able to bring together numerous companies in order to raise funds to fight against Charcot’s disease thanks to the ARSLA Association.
A very good team accompanied by Clubs around Valencia were able to work hard to overcome this disease. They collected from their generous partners the sum of 10 000€.
The Shamble at 4 gathered more than 70 competitors aware of contributing to this great action.
Golf is an individual sport that is even more beautiful when played as a team.

French Senior Team Championship 2 (+ from 60 years)
Of 8 at 10 September 2023 in Montpellier Foncaude
The Chanalets rise in 3th Division Nationale
28 teams were engaged in this promotion for only 8 places in 3th division.
The formula : 2 days of stroke play competition with 4 team players, the 3 best scores per day are retained.
Following this first step, the 16 top teams in the ranking meet in Match play. The 8 winners rise 3th division.
These were played on a very dry and technical course. 2 first days.
The Chanalets team has finished 10th after the 2 first days and therefore met on Sunday Le Golf de Massane (7th) for Match Play.
Following our victory 2/1, Les Chanalets will be next year in 3th Seniors division 2.

The cup of Valrhona Chocolates
Combining chocolate with a competition in a scorching climate is a challenge, Valrhona likes to raise, they are involved in taste innovation.
This week-end, not even afraid, they displayed their chocolate at 35° to reward the players who brought back very nice cards.
Isabelle TOURNIER distributed numerous prizes to the competitors during the prize giving ceremony where, each player was rewarded with the tasting of a dessert “green” prepared by the Grand Chocolat school presented by Philippe GIVRE.

Tuesday 11 September:
6th and penultimate meeting of the Rhône Valley at the Golf de Saint Clair
The Chanalets players finish 1ers which consolidates the lead in the general classification.
Congratulations to everyone for these results.
